(This is a follow up to the previous posting)

A little girl who was rescued, along with her two younger sisters, out of an abusive and incestuous home ,  told the following story: She and her sisters assisted their mother in the home birth of a baby boy, who was sold to a foreign couple by the father for “a lot of money”. The mother and sisters sobbed and begged him not to sell the baby. He did complete the sale, promising them the money received, however he spent the money on alcohol and drugs and they went without food “for a long time”.  One of the girls said that she was so sad and wanted to be sold instead so that the baby boy could remain with his mother and family. She wanted to take his place! The mother produced “many more” babies following this birth, but only the three little girls remain. Some of the babies were strangled by the father, according to the girls. These precious little ones have now been rescued and are safe and loved.  Posted by the interviewer (social worker).

About six months ago Happy Horizons was called to assist the local government office of Social Welfare with three young girls, ages 8 to 11. They had just been rescued from an unthinkable horror. Often being caged and threatened with poisonous snakes, beaten and sexually abused by the father. The mother rants about the girls destroying the life of the father, her husband. Just before each new trial or hearing date she shows up at the home to again plead with the girls to stop testifying about these things. The mother is also a victim of abuse and rape.

Through months of delicate interviews and play therapy sessions the story of abuse and child trafficking is coming to light.

Three little girls living a life so horrorable that it defies examination and telling. Three little girls tell of delivering a baby as midwifes only to have the father take the baby and sell it to a foreign couple. They tell in graffic details, the blood and slim that goes along with this kind of event. The father then getting drunk while the mother and three little girls go hungry once again.

The girls in independent interviews tell the story of one of the babies being left in their care, falling and after not breathing being burried perhaps alive under the little shack they called home. The story was related very matter a-fact to our social worker. This was just one more horror in the memory banks of little children whom our Savior called “His little Ones”.

HHCR is dedicated to seeing their lives restored and healed. Our staff prays everyday that God will give them the right key to unlock the hearts that have become sullen and gray with abuse.

Please pray with us and if you feel inclinded please support the work.

God bless,

Glenn
